Welcome to ACAG 2013-2014 First Semester

I look forward to seeing everybody back at school, well-scrubbed, eager to learn and filled with joy!

A few notes for you to start your year:

-be prepared with pens, pencils, writing paper and a binder every day (if anything else is required, I will write it on the board during the  prior class)

– grade 9 students- start looking for your non-fiction books; they need to be here for the 4th of September

– grade 12 students – start thinking about the subject you wish to study this semester

– grade 11/12 students – you need to decide if you wish to do a mini success discussion group with M. Lamon within the English period (3-5 30 minutes workshops)

-grade 11/12 students – I will be starting a scholarship application drop-in period in late September. If you are interested, and only have particular days free, let me know.

-grade 9-12 students – Writing club (fiction or non-fiction, just for fun or for particular contests) will begin late September, as well.

S-Trip The Amazing Scholarship

S-Trip The Amazing Scholarship

Best of luck, Tatiana. You have worked incredible hard at school and for school all these years, you deserve to win! Vote for her; help her increase her earnings for university and help Ange-Gabriel become more known to people!!

Don’t forget to keep this scholarship in mind grade eleven students. It is open to all graduates; this year Tatiana was the only one to apply.

Letters to Juliet

Letters to Juliet

If you choose this option for your letter writing, here are some photos of where the letters end up.

This second link tells the story of letters written to the fictional Juliet. Can you understand why many people over the years have written to her for advice?
